§ Narrative. 01 A private residence in the mountains of western North Carolina. Venetian plaster runs across the public rooms in PBO's suede finish, an irregular shine and matte combination that holds the room's light without throwing it back. Stone, wood, and plaster pulled into a single architectural voice.

The photography documents the work as it lives in the room. Texture under raking light, gothic openings framed against open ground, the wall reading as polished stone at close range and as quiet plane at distance.
